Privacy at Mnemo

• Everything you tell Mnemo, kept as written: the text of every memory, note and message.
• The contexts you create (name, kind, description) and the events you add, including times and reminder channels.
• Your account details: name, email address, timezone, and, if you connect it, your Telegram account identifier.
• Basic operational records: when you signed in, when a memory was stored, and errors the system hit.

Memories are stored as readable text, not as a summary or a hash. If you write a client's phone number into a memory, that phone number is stored.

To answer a question, generate an insight summary, or prepare a brief, Mnemo sends the relevant stored text, and your question, to a third-party large language model provider for processing. That content leaves our systems and is processed on the provider's infrastructure.

Memories are also converted into numerical representations by a third-party provider so they can be searched by meaning. Those representations are derived from your text.

We choose providers that state they do not train their models on API content, but we do not control their systems and cannot guarantee their behaviour on your behalf. Do not put anything into Mnemo that you could not accept a vendor processing.

Traffic between you and Mnemo is encrypted in transit, and stored data is encrypted at rest by our hosting provider. That is not end-to-end encryption: the contents of your memories are readable by the Mnemo service, which is what makes recall possible.

Members of our team can technically access stored content, for example while investigating a fault you report. We do not read it routinely, but we cannot claim we are unable to.

• Hosting and database infrastructure, where your account and memories live.
• The model and embedding provider described above.
• Telegram, if you connect it. Messages you send the bot pass through Telegram's systems under their own terms.
• A phone and voice provider, if you enable call alerts, which receives the phone number and the spoken content of the alert.
• Email delivery, for the sign-in codes. Mnemo has no password.
• Razorpay, if you buy a plan. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's own checkout and never reach Mnemo; we keep only the order and payment ids, the amount and the plan.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

You can export everything you have stored from Settings, as a machine-readable file containing your contexts, memories and events.

• Deleting a single memory or context removes it from your account immediately and from our active database.
• Deleting your account removes your contexts, memories, events and account record.
• Deleted data can persist in encrypted infrastructure backups for up to 30 days before those backups roll over.
• Content already processed by the model provider is subject to that provider's own retention window, which is typically up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and outside our control.

Memories are kept indefinitely while your account is open. Permanence is the point of the product, so nothing expires on its own. Operational logs are kept for up to 90 days. Inactive accounts are not deleted automatically; ask us if you want yours removed.

Mnemo is not intended for anyone under 16.
